F that,an experiment had been conducted in or hefield of research USU, Medan (+ 25 m asl.) In February-June 2012th by using non-factorialrandomized block design. The results of experimental study that the action plan in severalvarieties had significant effect on flower age, harvesting time, 100 seed weight, theproduction per sample and the production per plot. Value estimate of heritability range from0.12-1. The coefficient of genotypes variations are about 4.64-38.5 and coefficient ofphenotypic variation are about 6.93-38.89. No significant correlation values for allparameters

    AbstractThis study to determine the growth response of several types of clones of cocoa (Theobroma cacao L.) with an organic fertilizer in polybag. The design used was Randomized Design Group factorial with two factors were studied, namely: organic fertilizer factor which is denoted by the letter "O" and the stage is divided into 3 = without giving Oo, O1 = Amazing Bio Fertilizer Growth (ABG) and O2 = Super Bionic Fertilizer and Cocoa varieties factor denoted by the letter "K" is divided into three types: TSH 858 = K1, K2 = K3 = RCC 70 and PA 300. Organic fertilizer as the first factor and the varieties of cocoa as a second factor, while the parameters measured were plant height (cm), number of leaves (pieces), stem diameter (mm), leaf area (cm), root wet weight (g), weight wet bars (g), root dry weight (g), stem dry weight (g) and root volume (cc).Keywords:organic fertilizer, clone, cocoa, polyba

    This study aims to determine the growth response of some kind of clone of cocoa ( Theobroma cacao L. ) with an organic fertilizer in a polybag with using randomized block design (RBD ) factorial with 2 factors studied , namely : The first factor is Organic Fertilizer ( O ) divided into 3 levels ie O0 = Without Giving , O1 = Amazing Bio Fertilizer Growth ( ABG ) and O2 = Fertilizer Super Bionic , and the second factor varieties Cocoa ( K ) is divided into three types namely TSH K1 = 858 , K2 = 70 and K3 = RCC PA 300 . While the parameters measured were plant height ( cm ) , number of leaves ( blade ) , stem diameter ( mm ) , leaf area ( cm ) , root fresh weight ( g ) , stem fresh weight ( g ) , root dry weight ( g ) , stem dry weight ( g ) and root volume ( cc ) . The results showed that the use of organic fertilizers provide a significant effect on the parameters of plant height , leaf number , stem diameter , leaf area , stem fresh weight , and root volume and provide no real influence on the parameters of the wet weight of the rod . Treatment varieties only significant effect on plant height parameters , and no real influence on the other parameters .While the interaction of treatment showed a marked influence on the parameters for a high cocoa seedlings and other parameters showed no real difference.Key wordas : organic fertilizer, growth, coco

    The Effect of Cholchisine Consentration to Growth and Produduction Green Beans (Vignaradiata L.) supervised by EVA SARTINI BAYU and HASMAWI HASYIM. One of thebreeding program that can be used to developed new varieties by using breeding mutation thatusing by colchisine consentration. The experiment had been conducted at Tumpatan NibungBatangkuis, Deli Serdang, Sumatera Utara (± 25 metres asl) during March until Juny 2012nd byusing randomized block design that were K0 (0%); K1 (0,04 %); K2 (0,08); K3 (0,12%); K4(0,16%) and then continued with Duncan\u27s Multiple Range Test (DMRT). The parameters weregermination percentage, plant height, leaf numbers, flower ages, weight of pods dry ,number ofpods containing, number of seeds in each pods and 100 seeds weight. The result showed thatapplication colchisin significantly effected on growths: plant height and number of leafs, andalso production parameters such as: flower ages, weight of pods dry, number of pods containing,and number of seeds in each pods
